Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Värmland (1924- , Bd. I, hft. 2: 116, 117, 131) as a bucket-shaped mounted baptismal font made of potstone [an impure steatite used to make pots in prehistoric times, and often used in the fonts of this area and period] and dated to the early or mid 13th century. The basin sides are ornamented with a flat moulding at the upper basin side, a rope moulding around its middle and another, thinner, around its lower basin side [cf. Index entry for the font at nearby Nor, much the same shape; it also has the upper basin side moulding, but not the other ornamentation present on this font]. The base consists of a slender shaft and a splayed lower base; the ornamentation on the base is done in wood.
