Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Västergöland (1922-, Bd. I, hft. 3: 412, 416) as a sandstone baptismal font of the late Romanesque period; it consists of a roughly hemispherical basin and a round pedestal base with an upper ring moulding. Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920521F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 by a regional hand, There are photographic records of the font being in one location in 1894, and in another by 1951; since that date the font has been located at the east end of the nave, on the side side.
