No entry found for Sil in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld. A font at Sil is listed in Dahlberg (1998: 115) as a baptismal font of the "Skalundagruppen" type [cf. Index entry for Skalunda]. The font, illustrated in an 1863 P.A. Säve's drawing [cf. ImagesArea] consisted of a roughly cyclindrical basin with a wide running vine between two parllel rope mouldings all around, on a round splaying base with a ring moulding atop and a rope moulding around the lower base. [NB: we do not have information on the present whereabouts of this font].
