Described and illustrated in Le Patrimoine... de la Vendée (2001, v. 2: 971) as a monolithic granite baptismal font of the 11th or 12th century; it is hemispherical in shape, ornamented with a double roll-moulding towards the lower basin side; it has a very short round base. The font, now kept in the town-hall, is in a poor state of conservation, with much damage to the upper area; it is believed to have originated in the priory church here.
