Described and illustrated in Le Patrimoine... de la Vendée (2001, v. 1: 94) as a Romanesque holy-water stoup originally from the ancienne église Notre-Dame; it was recovered by M. l'abbé Charles Grelier, from whom is past on to Mme. Vincendeau; the latter donated it to the Société d'Histoire et d'Études du Pays challandais in 1992 or 1993. The base-less granit basin is rounded with three corner protrusions and resembles a mortar.
