Described in Sveriges kyrkor: Skåne (Bd. II, hft. 1: 91, 92) as a font listed in the church inventory of 1662 as "En funt af Träd" [=wooden font]. It has now disappeared, but the 1830 inventory relates the inscription "H.R.I. TUTORES N.H.S. O.V.S. 1633". SK cites Carlquist, Herdammine, Ser. s. 348 as source for the identification of the first set of initials as those of pastor Rasmus Ibsen [Herr Rasmus Ibsen], who had been a student in Copenhagen in 1617; he was the vicar of both Raus and Välluv in 1630 and died in 1636. In the Välluv inventory there is a record of a font painted in 1633: "1633 är denne funt stafferit" [this font was paited in 1633]; the same inventory accounts for a repair to this font in 1758. A surviving wooden fragment (31 x 7.5 cm) may actually have been part of the disappeared font. Tynell (1913-1921: 75) makes a reference to this font as well as to a medieval font also disappeared from this church.
