Described and illustrated in Fåhraeus (1974) as a cylindrical mounted baptismal font of the mid-13th century, much like the ones at Elinghem Lummelunda, Lye, etc.- on a conical pedestal. Fåhraeus (ibid.) illustration shows a tall pyramidal wooden cover next to the font. On-site notes: the font consists of a round tapering, almost cylindrical, basin totally plain except for a roll moulding at the underbowl; the moulding appears to be part of the basin block; plain pedestal base, round and slightly splaying; no lower base; the font is painted. Early [1915, etc.] photographs in the Kulturmiljöbild, Riksantikvarieämbetet, show the font broken; restoration probably done in the 1930s, when the whole church was done, including its late-medieval wall paintings; the font is painted. The [17th century?] wooden cover, a flat platform with tall clustered scrolled wooden sides and a ball finial, is also painted.
