Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (Bd. IV, hft. 5: 757, 763) as a few fragments of a limestone baptismal font basin dated to the 13th century; they were found buried in the nave during the 1956-1958 restoration, and are believed to be what remains of the original basin that would match the 13th-century base on which the later basin now stands; the fragments are ornamented with an arcade filled with stylised foliage (?) motifs. [NB: cf. Index entry for Gammelgarn No. 1 for the composite font made up of a 14th-century Gothic basin, the 13th-century base and a 20th century plinth]. [NB: not seen during our 23 August visit to this church].
