Described in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (Bd. IV, hft. 3: 402-405) as a limestone cylindrical mounted baptismal font dated to the early 13th century; the base is identified as being by Calcarius II, while the basin is from another workshop; the basin has a blind arcade all around, the lower part narrowing toward the centre of the lower base. The base is a conical pedestal plain except for three large protruding heads: a lion's, with open mouth showing its fangs, a man's, wearing a crown and hair the length of his jowl; the third is also the head of a man wearing a hood that wraps around his jowl; the font consists of three blocks, the basin and the two-part base; the basin is broken horizontally all around the side, a few inches below the upper rim. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910814F1] as a baptismal font made of limestone in the mid-13th century by a Gotland workshop; the SHM entry cites Svanberg's (1995) attribution to Calcarius. Flat round wooden cover with knob handle.
