Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Närke (Bd. I, hft. 2: 169, 170) as the basin and lower base of a limestone font dated to 1682; the basin is octagonal, shaped like an inverted pyramid, with slightly curved arrises; its surface is ornamented with incised floral and foliage patterns. The lower base is similarly shaped, but not inverted and slightly more rounded, and with similar ornamentation patterns. It shows a central drainage channel. [These two pieces were mounted on a "polykromerad träplint" [=polychrome wooden plinth] in the Örebro läns museum, in Örebro, but the basin was moved back into the church during the 1966-1968 restoration and was placed on a square bick pedestal on the right of the altar (southeast corner of the nave) [cf. SK: Narke Bd. I, hft. 6, fig. 816 on p. 826, a photograph taken in 1971 shows the basin back in the church]
