Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (Bd. IX, hft. 1: 46-47, 64) as a "sandstone baptismal font, donated in 1699". The font is of a type commonly found on the island: shallow basin with circle motifs raised on a baluster pedestal stem ornamented with two grape bunches; the lower base is square. The font appears painted a leaded-green hue [="grågrönmålad"], but the grapes themselves are painted yellow. [cf. Index entry for Näs No. 1 for the much damaged 13th century font also in this church]. [NB: not to be mistaken with the wooden font from a village of the same name in northern Sweden, also listed in this Index]
