Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (Bd, VIII, hft. 2: 58-59, 77) as a sandstone baptismal font of the mid-17th century made in the south of the island; the font is of a type commonly found on the island: shallow basin with quartered-circle motifs raised on a baluster pedestal stem with similar ornamentation and grape bunches; the lower base or plinth is round. The font is painted. Though much re-built, the church goes back to the 11th century, but we have no information on the font of the medieval church here.
