The present font is described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (1927- ) as a late-17th century sandstone baptismal font with a round shallow basin mounted on a baluster pedestal; the basin is ornamented with a garland around it, and the whole font is painted in gold, red and blue. [NB: we have no information on the original font of the Romanesque church here].
