Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (Bd. I, hft. 5: 547-548): late 13th-century limestone goblet-shaped baptismal font; althouth it appears round at first sight, it actually has sixteen sides, each matching the broad rib or arch of the side and underbowl; round pedestal, slightly conical, and round lower base. The upper rim side of the basin has a narrow band of nail-head pattern all around. In Reutersvärd (1967). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910509F1] as a baptismal font of the 'musselcuppstyp' made of limestone in the second half of the 13th century. On-site notes: the font does not appear to fully match the types of 'musselcuppa' fonts of the 13th century; is it a 16th-century font?; there are no traces of hardware in the upper rim of the basin; the font is painted; if the basin is 13th-century as claimed in SK [cf. supra], the base may be of a later date]. [NB: Paradise font? or related?: the shape of the basin, the large diameter, etc. makes it a variant from the typical fonts of that group]
