Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Gotland (Bd. II: 7, 10) as a polygonal baptismal font of the 14th century; the polygonal basin has almost vertical sides and a rounded underbowl; the stem of the base is conical and the foot square. There is no ornamentation evident on it; the basin is one piece and the base is two, the cemented joints clearly visible. A flat wooden cover, also polygonal matching the shape of the upper basin, was on the font ca. 1935. It is a crude work without any remarkable features. Illustrated also in Fåhraeus (1974: 60); the basin is clearly octagonal in its exterior; the square lower base has what appear to be ball motifs at the corners. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910427F1] as a baptismal font made of limestone in the 14th century, with traces of later painting on it.
