Described and illustrated in Sveriges Kyrkor: Gotland (Bd. VI, hft. 4: 323-323) as one of several similar fonts found on the island, all from about the same period and all very similar: a shallow basin has foliage ornamentation on the underbowl; the base is shaped like a tall round vase and the plinth is square. The sides of the base are painted and there are inscriptions on the font (the font is dated from 1653, but was painted in 1673) [cf. Index entry for Alva No. 1 for the base of an earlier font here].
