Noted in Newman (1976): "Font. Contemporary [i.e., with the 1750s rebuilding of the old church by Rev. Granville Wheler]. Small marble bowl on a wrought iron tripod. The latest thing in the 1750s, no doubt." [NB: the original church goes back to the medieval period but we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church].
