Described and illustrated in Carlsson (1976: 127 and pl. 195) as a baptismal of the 12th century with four lion heads on the base; the font consists of a hemispheric basin, plain except for a rope moulding at the upper basin side and a a rind moulding at the bottom of the underbowl; the base has four large protruding heads set at 90-degree angles; they are crudely carved and may represent lions. Noted in Nordström (1984). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900622F1] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 by a regional workshop; the SHM entry remarks on the disproportionated width of the base.
