Described and illustrated in Boström (1966- , Bd. I, hft. 2: 146, 148) as a baptismal font of red limestone dated by an inscription to 1655 around the upper surface of the rim, and attributed to the Jordan Hansson workshop. The font consists of a rather shallow octagonal basin mounted on a square pedestal that has a protrusion equivalent to the ring or thick torus found on many stems of Scandinavian fonts all the way from the Romanesque period/style; it is all raised on an square plinth; the surface of the basin and the base has foliage and geometric ornamentation. [NB: cf. added entry for a base fragment of a much earlier font in the old church (gamla kyrka)]
