Described in Boström (1966- , Bd. I, hft. 2: 227) as the truncated-cone shaped fragment of the base of a medieval baptismal font; it is made of grey limestone and was found in 1942 when works to open a new door on the tower wall released this fragment that had been used as building material in 1802. [NB: cf. added entry for a much later font -dated to 1655 by an inscription- in the new church (nya kyrka)]
