Described and illustrated in Boström (1966- , Bd. I, hft. 4: 398) as a "red limestone font, donated in 1668". The font is identified in the same source as the work of Måns Andersson, whose initials appear on the inscription visible on the basin side; the inscription carries the date 1668; the font consists of a rather shallow octagonal basin mounted on a rounded baluster-type pedestal that has square upper and lower ends; it is all raised on an octagonal plinth; the surface of the basin and the base has floral and foliage ornamentation. [NB: cf. added entry for a fragment of a much earlier font -dated to the middle or second half of the 13th century- in this same church]
