Described and illustrated in Boström (1966- , Bd. II, hft. 5, p. 62, 110ff): "Christening font from c 1210-1250, made of limestone from Gotland, and attributed to the so-called Calcarius II" (ibid. p. 110). The attribution to Calcarius II is referred from Roosvald (1918: 169ff) and Strömbom (1942: 81ff) (in Boström, ibid., p. 136 n106). This same font is attributed "with some hesitation" by Reutersvärd (1972: 108ff) to another master, Calcarius III (Boström, ibid., p. 136 n107). The font is "partly greyish-yelow in the bowl, partly reddish in the shaft. The vine leaves around the bowl symbolize both Christ (cf St John 15:5) and the Tree of Life, and the scales on the underside of the bowl are, according to Reutersvärd, 'a water motif depicting the well in Paradise.'" (Boström, ibid., p. 147).
