Described in Bøggild Johanssen (1998- : Bd. 18-19, 1747, 1808, 1874) as a late-Romanesque baptismal font of Gotland limestone originally from the S. Albani church in Odense. The same source relates that when the parish and incomes of S. Albani were transferred to the Gråbrødre Klosterkirke (Greyfriars Monastery church), the font went with them; in 1590 this font was sold to S. Jørgens Kirke, in Svendborg.
