Described and illustrated in Danmarks Kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Ringkobing_0701-0723.pdf] [accessed 14 November 2016], after Mackeprang (1941), as a Romanesque font of reddish granite; it had been painted but the paint was removed in 1884; font damaged in the 1908 fire; in its present location since 1909. In Nyborg (1998- : Bd. 2, hefte 8, p. 714-716; roughly chalice-shaped Romanesque font of reddish granite of the "nordvestjyske type", after Mackeprang (ibid.); the basin is hemispheric with a square-cut rim and a roll-moulding under it; the basin and underbowl are ornamented with two rows of linked corcles all around; the base has an upper ring and four vertical mouldings at the corners, which make its lower base square. No font cover present; small metal baptismal dish in use.
