There are two objects inside the baptistery that may be related to baptism, or may have been used as fonts inside, beside a modern one noted below [cf. infra for the entries in the Catalogo generale dei Beni Culturali]. Of the two earlier objects aone consists of a hemispherical basin with four protrusions set at 90-degree angles of the rim, a typical design found among medieval fonts; the outer surface is patterned; it stands on an inverted Corinthian capital as its base; it appears to have a metal inser that mau serve to hold the water [.cf. ImagesArea]. Also inside the baptistery is another vessel of quite different appearance: it consists of a roughly-rectangular basin decorated with a wide scotia below the upper rim, the underbowl patterned with deeply-carved gadroons; it stands on a plain pedestal base; It has a cover with two openings buy it is not clear from the source photographs whether the interior of the basin is also partitioned to match the openings on the cover. The baptistery itself is entered in the Italian Catalogo generale dei Beni Culturali [#0100022616] [https://catalogo.beniculturali.it/detail/ArchitecturalOrLandscapeHeritage/0100022616] [accessed 17 March 2024]. Also listed the Catalogo (ibid.) is an early-19th century baptismal font made of marble ["bottega biellese (prima metà sec. XIX)"] [https://catalogo.beniculturali.it/detail/HistoricOrArtisticProperty/0100006080] [accessed 17 March 2024]
