On-site notes: a round basin, probably of the 13th or 14th century, mounted on a modern base. One of the upper sides of the basin has considerable damage, probably from the forceful removal of lid hardware. The inside of the basin appears to have been filled in with concrete, which would account for the shallow depth and the sealed drain hole.
