Holy-water stoup of grey veined marble dated late-18th century in Palissy [ref.: PM05001031]: "Marbre local gris veiné de blanc ; vasque de plan ovale, monolithe, godronnée, à bordure torique ; pied de plan circulaire, en plusieurs éléments, mouluré [...] inscription (gravée, sur l'oeuvre, initiales) ; date (gravée, sur l'oeuvre) [...] I. R. 1763 (sous la bordure de la vasque)." On-site notes: a roughly hemispherical basin with upper rim lip and sides ornamented with narrow but deeply-carved gadrooned pattern; inscribed with 1763 date; stands on a moulded balusted-type pedestal base.
