The Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-: III A 83-84 ) mentions several stoups in this church, one of them, "le plus intéressant", being a small polygonal basin dated 1589. On-site notes: this bain, which stands on a borrowed pedestal base, is now part of a collection of liturgical objects gathered in the museum mounted inside the church; it actually has nine sides, although, at first sight it appears octagonal; six of the sides are ornamented, the other three are blank. From L to R: 1)cross keys and sword; 2)Christ's monogram; 3)ancrée Latin cross; 4)Marian monogram; 5)"15" [first part of the date]; 6)"89" [last part of the date]. The underbowl has concave ribbed pattern. The upper capital of the base has several motifs and symbols: an inverted heart, two bands of saw-tooth motif, a pair of 5-petalled rosettes inscribed in circles, etc.; on a plain cylindrical column and a round-to-square lower base decorated with a roll moulding.
