This stoup may be the one reported in an oral presentation by Georges de Soultrait to the 21st session of the 1854 Congrès archéologique de France, as a holy-water stoup made of granite, old "mais sans caractère". On-site notes: hexagonal granite holy-water stoup probably of late medieval date; its shape, hexagonal but with the back side much larger than the others, indicates that it was meant to be located against a wall; the plain hexagonal chamfer ends in a round moulding and sits on a round pedestal base, all plain.
