Listed in García de Castro (1995) as one of several baptismal fonts consisting of a hemispherical basin ornamented with a blind arcade, raised on a cylindrical pedestal base, probably the output of a workshop in this area. Noted in García de Castro Valdés ([s.d.] 1998?) Described in Alvarez Martínez (1999) as one in a group of pedestal fonts with a square lower base, with either hemispherical or conical shaped basins of the 12th-13th century. The ornamentation consists usually of a blind arcade of Romanesque arches. There is no mention of a font in the entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico.
[NB: García de Castro Valdés ([s.d.] 1998?) cites his own 1995 work and mentions an inscription-based date of 1083 for this font -- TO BE COMPLETED]
