Illustrated in Biehl (1926: Tafel 113b) as an octagonal baptismal font, probably of a date close to the fonts at Faltona (which is dated to 1157) and Coeli-Aula; only two of the panels are shown in Biehl: they consist of a frame with a floral pattern all around it, and another frame within it with a similar pattern in which are contained four rosettes either in four circles of the said pattern or in four triangular frames, again decorated with the same pattern. [NB: cf. the entries in the Index for the fonts at Coeli-Aula and Faltona for a similar ornamentation]. Described and illustrated in Garzelli (2002: 12-13 and fig. 10 on p. 10). Described and illustrated in Kroesen and Steensma (2004): "from the end of the twelfth century, not only has an intricately decorated upper edge but the panels are also worked around and inside."
