Described and illustrated in Schätze des Glaubens (1999: 127) as a chalice-shaped baptismal font of the Gothic period; the basin upper rim protrudes slightly and has the date 1527 inscribed on it; there is a net of very thin mouldings around the octagonal basin; the vertical mouldings widen and become rope mouldings on the stem of the square upper base, wich is also ornamented with diamond motifs. The lower base is splayed and also square and there appears to be a shield on one of the sides. [Reference is given in the source above as "Inventarnummer 4541.5602]
