Described and illustrated in Schätze des Glaubens (1999: 127) as a Gothic chalice-shaped octagonal font; the basin upper rim protrudes slightly and has the date 1512 inscribed on it; there is a very thin moulding just below it; the underbowl is rounded but maintaining the eight sides of the basin sides; on one of them, the front, one, a blank shield. The short base is moulded and octagonal, like the basin, and totally plain otherwise. There is a flat wooden lid of modern appearance [NB: reference is given in the source above as "Inventarnummer 4873.5603].
