On-site notes: this second stoup, located on the south side appears roughly as a pair to the old Romanesque one on the north side [cf. Index entry for Gaillac No. 2], but it is not; this one has a plain shallow octagonal basin; the chamfer of the underbowl is equally octagonal and plain; there is roll moulding at the top of the cylindrical pedestal base and the lower base or plinth ia square. The only ornamentation found on it are the mouldings and the grading of the lower base.
