Described and illustrated in Nieto Taberné (2001). Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Cuenca (2009) as a Romanesque font probably from the earlier church in this village. Baptismal font with a deep basin whose upper rim is ornamented with a rope motif; under it, a band of intersecting arch-heads and, below it, a pattern of broad ribs reaching all the way down; the base itself appears to consist of two short pieces: the top is a ring with a looping motif all around; the lower one had a pattern which is now totally eroded. The Enciclopedia... (ibid.) notes the similarity of the intersecting arch-heads of this font with those on the font at Mariana, also in Cuenca.
