On-site notes: the sunken piscina of this baptistery has been beautifuly reconstructed in the gardens of the Musée archéologique de Cimiez, among the ruins of the 3rd century Roman baths for women. The font has a hexagonal shape, with one set of steps leading down to the deeper recess where the feet of the baptizand would rest. Noted in Ferguson (2009).
