A medieval stoup painted now dark green and built into the back wall of the nave, on the north side; it is goblet-shaped and rather a course piece; the upper part of the enclosure has shelves and doors which open above the basin. It was later used as the church's baptismal font. [NB: cf. the beautiful Carolingian (?) altar used for many years as holy-water stoup, now back to its original function as altar]
