This object is described and illustrated in the catalogue of the exhibition "Románico en Galicia y Portugal (2001: 52) as a 12th-century granit capital originally from Amorim-Póvoa de Varzim and now in the Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis; the object is described in this source as "capitel figurativo, con cena de cavalaria" [=figured capital with chivalry scene]; the side visible in this illustration shows two male figures with horns (drinking?) raised to their lips, the figure on the right holds the horn with the right hand while the one on the left holds it up with the left hand; the figure on the left has his right hand at crotch level; the figure on the right holds the arm of figure in the right corner; there are at least two ther figures, partially visible at the corners; they apear to be wearing hooded vestments and holding something or someone. Although the source does not mention it, the capital appears hollowed out into a quadrangular well, which we assume was done to convert it to a holy-water stoup as is often the case.
