On-site notes: oval holy-water stoup made of grey marble, plain except for a few mouldings in the basin and base; it belongs to a type common in this period -in both fonts and stoups- consisting of a shallow oval basin with a roll moulding at the upper side, and a baluster-type base. According to the parish priest, the church records date it exactly to 1694. There is a similar one in Campan, a village nearby [cf. Index entry for Campan No. 2]. Another holy-water stoup, a small undated one but probably of late date, is also found in this church [not listed in this Index, but photos available in the Images section.
