This object, now serving as a planter in the village, has a vertical basin sides and a graded chamfer to meet the cylindrical base; all the parts -probably three: basin, upper base and lower base- are plain. There is much lichen infestation on it and several cracks already evident on the upper rim, especially where the lid anchors are. More damage is to be expected to this font in the crude icy winters of this area. [NB: the former font may or may not have originated in the village parish church, the 15th-century Iglesia de San Andrés].
