Listed and illustrated in Gavín (1977, v. 2: A. Rib. 51) as a Romanesque baptismal font in the church of Sant Joan Evangelista, in the municipality of Betesa. The hemispheric basin has a double roll-moulding (?) at the upper rim; a blind arcade ornaments the basin side; the underbowl has a pattern of ribs; the base is plain, in the shape of truncated cone. Flat wooden cover with hinges about 2/3 back. Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. XVI: 312-313).
