Listed and illustrated in Gavín (1977, v. 2: B. Rib. 38) as a Romanesque holy-water stoup in the church of Sant Jaume; it has a hemispherical basin with a band of rectangles (?) on the basin side; the underbowl has rib-pattern incision. The base is slender and square, with painted (?) geometric patterns in a darker hue. There is a plain wooden cover. The object appears to be made of marble.
There is an entry for the parish church of Caladrones dedicated to St. Mary in LA GUÍA DIGITAL DEL ARTE ROMÁNICO [https://www.romanicoaragones.com/2-Ribagorza/990373-Caladronesc.htm] [accessed 7 May 2025] notes and illustrates a baptismal font in the parish church of Santa Maria: "En una de las capillas laterales en el lado sur, cerca del altar, se conserva la sencilla pila bautismal original"; the font consists of a plain, roughly-hemispherical basin raised on a squat base decorated with human figures [NB: LA GUÍA... mentions only this church and two ermitas but no Sant Jaume]. The entry for Caladrones in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/HUESCA_Caladrones.pdf] [accessed 7 May 2025] mentions also the parish church, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, with a font without description, and two ermitas, but, again, no Sant Jaume.
