Scene Description: This stag has a cross on its back, probably in reference to the legend of St. Hubert, although the cross ought to be between the antlers, rather than on the middle of its back; the dogs behind it are shown running and their mouths open as if barking

Illustrated and briefly described in Benzon (1973: 227-rettelsesblad) as a granite baptismal font of the Romanesque period; he typifies it as "Storebæltstypen". The font has a hemispherical basin ornamented with a vine at the top side and four heads at 90-degree angles just below it; the base is cushion-capital shaped, the rounded panels framed at top with rope motif; one of the panels shows a scene in which a stag with a cross on its back -a sort of "Cervus Dei"- is chased by barking dogs (the scene is probably related to the legend of St. Hubert).
