Listed and illustrated in Mackeprang (1941). Illustrated and briefly described in Benzon (1973: 226-rettelsesblad) as a granite baptismal font of the Romanesque period; he typifies it as "Højbytypen". The hemispherical basin is plain except for several (four?) small human heads on the upper sides; cylindrical upper base with torus at top and bottom; square lower base/plinth with stops at the corners. Listed and illustrated in Danmarks Kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Odense_3517-3606.pdf] [accessed 1 December 2024] as a Romanesque baptismal font of the Højby-type made of granite decorated with four human heads below the upper rim; two of the heads have been drilled from the top, presumably to set plugs for a font cover; the paint on the font was removed in 1882.
