Listed and illustrated in Mackeprang (1941) as a baptismal font of the Vindingetype from Fyn. Illustrated and briefly described in Benzon (1973: 226-rettelsesblad) as a granite baptismal font of the Romanesque period; he typifies it as "Vindingetypen". On-ste notes: at the time of our visit in July 2002 the font was dismantled and the floor was being restored; the roughly hemispheric basin appears plain except for two parallel mouldings at the upper side; the base is round-to-square and is ornamented with four panels of foliage motif, one of them somewhat resembling a human figure; at each corner there is a human face/head. [NB: other photographs show that the font has been moved and re-set at least three times in recent times (2002, 2007 and 2015)]. The font was reinstated in our 12 May 2023 visit to the church, located in the southeast corner of the nave, by the south transept.
