Described and illustrated in Catalonya romànica (1984- , vol. IV: 267) and in Mestre i Godes (1999, v. 4: 200) as a Romanesque cauldron-shaped baptismal font of the 12th century; rounded cauldron-shaped basin covered with a rustic lid; the lid, which is hinged in its middle and locks on the side of the rim, has nasty-looking point-up nails all over the opening part, as if to keep anyone from sitting of it (?); a square iron flat lock still in use appears inserted in the upper basin side; the only ornamentation on the basin is a flat moulding at the upper basin side; it is raised on a short quadrangular base. The shape and type of font is common enough in this area, on both sides of the Pyrénées.
