Catalogued and illustrated in Ghislain (2009) as a baptismal font of the Namurois group, filiation Beauvechain, made of limestone (calcaire de Meuse) ca. 1155-1160; the font is located in a tight alcove, the back partly built into the wall, which may account for only two of the four heads being visible now; the round tapering basin as a triple moulding around the upper rim, between the heads; the two visible heads are male, crowned and have long beards; the one on the right has a moustache pointinf upwards; the upper basin surface still has the metal staples of an old cover secured with lead where the heads are; there is a rope motif around the lower edge of the basin; the pedestal base is cylindrical and plain; the lower base is round and moulded. No cover present. Ghislain (ibid.) notes the similarity of this font to the one at Soulme, and similarities with the ones at Florennes, Sclayn, Beauvechain and Merksem. [cf. Index entry entries].
