Church Notes: A church may have existed here as far back as the Visigothic period, but the earliest documented record is 1689; the baptistery chapel is however Gothic. (a/p Mélida (1925, v. 2, p. 285)

Described in Mélida (1925) as a stone holy-water stoup in the Gothic style and probably dating to the medieval church of which no documentation exists.
