Described in Mélida (1925) as an interesting piece ["curioso ejemplar"]: portable baptismal font of Talavera ceramic [NB: this Talavera probably refers to Talavera de la Reina, Toledo province, reknown for its ceramics, rather than Talavera la Real, Badajoz province]. It is fired in a white colour and is decorated with a scene of the Baptism of Christ in the river Jordan on the inside of the bowl, and with green foliage and yellow "mascarons" on the outside. No date given.
