Described in Mélida (1925) as a baptismal font of the 16th century in Morisco style; it is made of clay, fired with a green glossy finish; the basin is hemispheric and mounted on a "robust" pedestal stem. The author suggests that it was probably in a pottery in Triana (in the province of Sevilla and with well-known pottery workshops). The baptismal chapel is dated by an inscription to 12 March 1528 (Ibid., v. 2, p. 168)
